WE REALLY DID SPEND THIS LONG ON AN UNDERSCORE
This should have been a five minute job.
FIRST PROBLEM
The wordmark already had an underscore in it. Then CSS added another blinking underscore. So for a while BinaryAcid had two cursors, which looked ridiculous once we noticed it.
SECOND PROBLEM
After removing the duplicate, the animated one still looked too thick. We narrowed it. Still too thick. Narrowed it again. Then did the same fix in the footer because of course the footer had its own copy of the logo.
DONE NOW
It blinks slowly, it is slightly slimmer than the surrounding type, and reduced-motion users get a static version. That is all it ever needed to do.
