We do not want to quietly turn this into a portfolio full of suspiciously successful experiments.
THE POINT
Some things will work. Some will stall. Some will get abandoned because they were not as interesting as they sounded at the start. That is useful information, so we want to keep it.
STATUS SHOULD SAY WHAT HAPPENED
The archive uses plain states like active, complete, failed, abandoned and paused. If something is an old log, it should look like an old log. We do not need fake live counters or pretend telemetry to make it feel more technical.
